Vote Aug. 11 & Nov. 3

Every voter counts, and every vote matters.

The first step in this year’s election is the August 11th primary election that will reduce the current three-candidate field to two for the November 3rd general election.  Below is information to help make voting easier for you and to ensure your Maguire for Mayor vote counts.

Step 1:  Get registered to vote.

In Minnesota, you are eligible to vote if you are a U.S. citizen who will be at least 18 on the day of the Primary and/or General Election Day and you have been a resident of Minnesota for more than 20 days.

While you can wait until election day to register in Minnesota. We would not recommend it.  Make a plan to vote and then “Just Do IT!”  It’s important, and it will save you time at your polling place.

Step 2:
Two ways to vote BEFORE the day of the election.

In Minnesota, you can vote early with a mail-in absentee ballot

or at designated early voting locations (Eagan City Hall in our community) starting 46 days before the August 11th Primary Election.  Early voting this year begins on Friday, June 26th.

Whether voting early by mail or in person, you can request an absentee ballot. Once you’ve requested and received an absentee ballot, you can either:

Vote early by mail, sending the absentee ballot to your county elections office;

Request an absentee ballot

-or-

Vote early in person by bringing your absentee ballot to an early voting location.  For Eagan voters, early in person voting can be done at the Eagan City Hall (where there are absentee ballots that can be filled out onsite) on Pilot Knob Road during normal business hours starting for the Primary Election on June 26.

On Aug. 11 & Nov. 3 VOTE Maguire for Mayor

Step 3: Going to the polls on Election Day.

If you have not voted early, you can go to your local polling place on the day of the election and register to vote, cast your vote, or do both!

The Minnesota Secretary of State’s office has an online search tool to find your polling location.  Finding your polling location is just a click away!

If you have any questions about registering or voting for the August 11, 2026 Primary Election, please contact the Maguire for Mayor campaign, and we will assist you as best we can.
