Eagan Mayor Mike Maguire announced his 2026 mayoral re-election bid this week, filing his affidavit of candidacy at Eagan City Hall.
He posted a statement on Facebook saying: “It is with humility and deep gratitude to the people of Eagan that today, I begin the process of seeking re-election to another term as mayor of the City of Eagan to complete the work I’ve done. I’ve had the privilege of serving our community first for four years as a member of the City Council, and for the last 20 as mayor.
